Safflower Oils
Crude High-Oleic Safflower Oil
Oil obtained from the seeds of high-oleic Carthamus tinctorius varieties. It has an oleic acid content of approximately 70–84%, providing greater oxidative stability. It is supplied unrefined, retaining the colour, aroma and natural components of the raw material; it is intended primarily for subsequent refining or formulations that accept crude quality. Its main uses are in food, frying, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical or technical applications requiring stability.
