Sunflower Oils

Refined Sunflower Oil

Refined

Oil obtained from Helianthus annuus seeds with a linoleic fatty acid profile. It has an unsaturated profile, with linoleic acid typically at 48–74% and oleic acid at 14–40%. Refining reduces odour, flavour, colour, acidity and impurities, producing a more neutral, stable and versatile oil for industrial formulations. Its main uses are in food, mayonnaise, margarines, bakery products, cosmetics and soapmaking.
