Coconut Oils

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

VirginOrganic

Oil obtained from copra, the dried flesh of Cocos nucifera. It is rich in medium-chain fatty acids, particularly lauric acid, and has a melting point around 24–28°C depending on the grade. Mechanical extraction better preserves the sensory character and natural constituents of the oil, making it suitable for applications that value its original identity. Organic quality requires certified raw materials, segregation, traceability and the corresponding documentation throughout the supply chain. Its main uses are in confectionery, bakery products, ice cream, cosmetics, soapmaking, pharmacy and oleochemicals.
