Oil obtained from mature Macadamia nuts. It typically contains 53–67% oleic acid and 16–24% palmitoleic acid. Mechanical extraction better preserves the sensory character and natural constituents of the oil, making it suitable for applications that value its original identity. Its main uses are in cosmetics, moisturisers, hair products, massage and restorative formulations.
